Digital Accessibility & Accessible IT
Access to technology offers the ability for individuals to engage and learn in a dynamic environment. Advances in information technology and telecommunications have greatly benefited individuals with disabilities, and has resulted in reducing barriers to access.
At Cornell, we are actively working to promote equitable access to technology. Examples of this effort include: offering training on the development of accessible websites, the availability of assistive listening systems, providing assistive technology in our public computing spaces, and working diligently to ensure that our information technology solutions are Section 508 and ADA compliant.
